So, this may sound strange, but I felt guilty turning off the A/C when I left for work every day. I know the house wasn\'t reaching dangerous temps, but it was always pretty steamy when I got home. Why isn’t the Zap Box required in all new construction? During a time of increased demand for fossil fuels, you’d think such a simple solution would be mandated. Not yet, though. I ran across the Zap Box during an insomnia attack as I surfed the web, and to say the least, I didn’t believe it. It kind of stuck in my craw, though, and I found myself back at the web site the next day. I understand how home electrical services work, and I had some questions, which I emailed out from the web site, expecting mumbo jumbo or more likely no response at all. Within 6 hours, though, I had a clear, thought-out, and articulate email waiting for me, answering my question and a few more that I hadn’t thought to ask. Two days and six emails later, I was sold. I’ve lived in two homes over the last three years, and the first thing I bought when I moved was another Zap Box. I called the number for the Zap Box people and expected to be shuttled from automated voice to automated voice, and end up having to call an electrician in. Within about four minutes, I was on the phone with a very knowledgeable guy who was able to explain the confounding part of the instructions, and got us back on track quickly. The Zap Box installation isn’t scary, by any means, and is well explained in the accompanying paperwork, but it kind of made me nervous. I wanted to pop in here and give a bit of a backwards testimonial for the Zap Box. Briefly, not a lot of the electrical devices I use are the right type to benefit from the Zap Box – it’s all lights and small electronics. I called up Zap Box to complain after seeing no improvement four months in a row. After asking some probing questions, the representative surprised me by admitting that mine was not an ideal use for their product, and offered to start a return on it. This is nearly five months after I had it installed! I’d called to blow off steam, and had instead been blown away by the level of honesty and service I received. If you can use this thing, you should feel comfortable ordering one!

It seemed like we could benefit.

I emailed the folks at Zap Box with some questions about the unit, as well as hoping to get in touch with some satisfied commercial client prior to purchasing one for my small-scale manufacturing business (we make plastic toys sold in store-brand and generic container, like dollar stores). Great in Hotels

Our Zap Box was installed this past November at the large hotel that I manage. Corporate gives me a bit of flexibility in the budget, and the Zap Box website was convincing enough, so I picked one up. A Good Product

I'm part owner of a small fitness center/gym in the Port Charlotte area.
